WHAT KIND OF PHOTO SHOULD I SEND?

The best dolls come from the best photos. Please send us good photos! Send photos of your child smiling the way you want, with their hair the way you want (no hats), and make sure the photo is crisp and clear. The best photos have the child's head at least 2 inches tall or larger, but we can sometimes use smaller photos if the photo is good enough. Actual photos work a lot better than computer print-outs. Please don't send xerox copies of photos. School photos are great to use because they are taken at the child's eye level.

If we receive a photo that we don't think will work well, we will request another. We won't try to design a doll for you using an inadequate photo. Sending more than one view of the child helps, too.

Please don't e-mail us the photo, drop it in the mail instead, along with your order. That way, the service bureau's e-mail doesn't get clogged up (they don't appreciate it much when that happens, and neither do we). Be sure not to send heirloom photos, as we can't be responsible for these photos if they are lost in the mail. Both Wal-Mart and Walgreens stores have photo reproduction services if you're concerned about your photos.

PLEASE NOTE: Paper Kids is for kids only. We only do paper dolls of children ages 1 to 12. We are not set up to do adult paper dolls at these prices. We occasionally do paper doll sets and illustration for companies that wish to produce paper dolls for resale.
