WHAT KIND OF PHOTO SHOULD I SEND?

The photo you send is so important! The best dolls come from the best photos! Please send us good photos! Send photos of your child smiling the way you want, with their hair the way you want (no hats), and make sure the photo is crisp and clear. The best photos have the child's head at least 2 inches tall or larger, but we can sometimes use smaller photos if the photo is good enough. Actual photos work a lot better than computer print-outs. Please don't send xerox copies of photos because the quality is usually not good enough for the artist to see enough detail to create an accurate portrait. School photos are great to use because they are taken at the child's eye level and usually show the child smiling and posed correctly for a paper doll.

To the left are some good examples of photos. If we receive a photo that we don't think will work, we will request another. Sending more than one view of the child helps, too.

Please don't e-mail us the photo, drop it in the mail instead, along with your order. That way, our service bureau's e-mail doesn't get clogged up (they don't appreciate it much when that happens, and neither do we).

PLEASE NOTE: Paper Kids is for kids only. We only do paper dolls of children ages 1 to 12. We are not set up to do adult paper dolls.
